The goals or the workshop are to acquaint the students with the advantages and limitations of cognitive electrophysiological research,to allow the students to comprehend studies using the relevant methods, and to initiate students on the design and analysis of their own
experiments.
By the end of the workshop, participants will be able (with due practice) to follow basic preprocessing steps, from raw signals to event-related potentials, to select appropriate dependent variables and perform basic statistics on the data. The students will be able to follow methods and results sections of sceintific papers using event-related responses in humans
