There are three principal options:
- Enable Target users
- Enable Feedback
- Enable Entry types

...to prevent students making any further changes to an entry, or deleting it?
If Target users is enabled:
- If Enable submission to set to Yes, the entry is submitted as soon as it is saved. It cannot be further changed.
- If set to Optional, an entry can be either saved or submitted. A submitted entry cannot be further changed.
- If set to No, the student can continue to change the entry, but not after it has been approved or rejected, or feedback has been supplied (unless, of course, Allow editing of approved or rejected entries or entries with feedback is set to Yes).

If any of an entry's Target users is a Mentor (or Supermentor), and option Notify target user set for that field, then the Target user is notified when the entry is submitted or, if submission is disabled, when the value of the field is changed.
